3.5 KG OF HEROIN RECOVERED IN DILAI PS OF KARBI ANGLONG DIST.

BOKAJAN: today on 8th January acting on a secret information a Naka was set up at Dilai Tini Ali by Dilai PS staff and CRPF C20 Camp Bokajan under Dilai PS . 

At about 10.30 AM a Mahindra vehicle bearing registration no AS 01 MC 4996 was intercepted and on being thorough search of the vehicle 286 packets of soap cases containing 3.5 kg heroin (Approx) were recovered. Two persons have been arrested in this regard 

1. Golap Khandakar (29)

2. Sahanur Mir (21)

S/O- Sahjahan Mir 

Vill- kakdua

Ps- Tarabari

Dist- Barpeta

The seizure was made under the physical supervision of SP Karbi Anglong and SDPO Bokajan .
